SK Rent-a-Car "Use Tesla Model 3 for Short-Term Rental"
[Asia Economy Reporter Suyeon Woo] The popular electric vehicle Tesla Model 3 in Korea is now available as a short-term rental product.
SK Rent-a-Car announced the launch of the Tesla Model 3 short-term rental service product, which will be offered at 10 locations in the Seoul and Gyeonggi areas.
A total of 21 Tesla Model 3 vehicles will be provided as short-term rentals. SK Rent-a-Car plans to expand the number of electric vehicles and rental locations after gauging customer response.
An SK Rent-a-Car official explained, "As customers' mobility lifestyles become more segmented and diversified, demand for electric vehicles continues to increase. Reflecting this, we have launched a new product using Tesla vehicles, which customers currently prefer the most."
Last month, SK Rent-a-Car signed an MOU with Korea Electric Power Corporation to enhance convenience for electric vehicle rental customers and establish a comprehensive mobility life service system. This time, by launching the short-term electric vehicle rental product, they have taken the first step toward the future mobility service era.
Customers wishing to rent can make reservations through the SK Rent-a-Car website and customer center. To commemorate the product launch and expand the experience of electric vehicle rental products, SK Rent-a-Car is offering a 60% discount on rental fees until the end of the year.
