Installation of 15 Logo Lights in Parks of Apgujeong, Gaepo, and Jagok-dong, Gangnam-gu
Encouragement and Support with "Sseudam Sseudam" and "Todak Todak" Phrases
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jung Soon-gyun) installed LED landscape lighting devices called Logo Light on three park walking trails in Apgujeong, Gaepo, and Jagok-dong last month, providing emotional light letters that offer empathy and hope.
The Logo Lights were installed with five units per park, totaling 15 units, at three locations frequently visited by residents: the riverside trail in Apgujeong-dong, Cheongnyong Park in Gaepo-dong, and Motgolarae Park in Jagok-dong. To comfort residents exhausted by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, encouraging and supportive messages such as "You have done well so far, pat pat, you will do well from now on, tap tap," and "You who sparkle there, Day 1 towards your dream starting today" are displayed as illuminated text.
Earlier, Gangnam-gu selected 12 projects this year as part of the resident participation budget, including emotional light letters and healing gardens created together by companies and residents.

He added, "We hope that the emotional light letters help overcome the 'COVID Blue' and provide positive energy.
