On this day, 'Immortal Songs' aired the first episode of a three-part summer special titled 'With Friends.' The stage featured Solji-Lee Ro, Kim Na-hee-Park Seo-jin, Jang Eun-ah-Ali, Kim Tae-woo-Lim Jeong-hee, Kwon Hyuk-soo-KCM, and Kim Ho-joong-Jin Simon.

The third stage was Jang Eun-ah and Ali performing 'Defying Gravity' from the musical 'Wicked.' Jang Eun-ah shared that she reached out to Ali, with whom she played the same role in 'Rebecca,' after hearing about the 'Close Friends Special.' The musical divas with spine-chilling vocal power, Jang Eun-ah and Ali, defeated Solji and Lee Ro to claim a win.

The fourth stage featured Kim Tae-woo and Lim Jeong-hee challenging S.E.S.'s 'Just a Feeling.' Kim Tae-woo and Lim Jeong-hee revealed that they have been close friends for 15 years while being under the same agency. Kim Tae-woo also said, "She is a friend from whom I have learned a lot musically." Their refreshing and clear voices blended well, and they defeated Jang Eun-ah and Ali to secure a win.

The fifth stage was Kwon Hyuk-soo and KCM. In an interview, Kwon Hyuk-soo shared, "During a time when singing was very burdensome, I participated in a singing program with my hyung (older brother). He gave me courage about singing." They chose Kim Hyun-jung's 'Parting with Her,' describing it as "a cool and fiery song to enjoy with dance."

Kwon Hyuk-soo surprised the judging panel with his consistent vocal skills alongside KCM, but it was not enough to surpass the powerful stage of Kim Tae-woo and Lim Jeong-hee. Ultimately, Kim Tae-woo and Lim Jeong-hee achieved their second win.

The final stage featured Kim Ho-joong and Jin Simon performing Sunflower's 'Speak Up Quickly.' Kim Ho-joong shared an anecdote about how he looked up to Jin Simon like an older brother during difficult times, and Jin Simon expressed affection, saying that Kim Ho-joong's struggles felt personal to him. Although their emotional performance moved the judging panel, Kim Tae-woo and Lim Jeong-hee secured their third win and became the final champions.
