[Breaking] Moon: "August 14 'No Delivery Day' is the first ever... Hope we are happy together"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Suwan] President Moon Jae-in on the 18th praised major courier companies including CJ Logistics for designating the 14th of next month as a 'Day Without Delivery' to allow delivery workers to rest, saying, "Please support the delivery workers so they can have time to rest and recharge."
In a post on social media that day, President Moon said, "The lighter the steps of delivery workers, the happier the packages left at the doorstep will be."
He added, "As social distancing in daily life improved, delivery workers became busier, and during that time, three delivery workers passed away from overwork," and said, "I hope we remember the efforts of delivery workers along with medical staff as heroes overcoming COVID-19."
