Chinese Apple Fans Lined Up Even Before the Opening
[Asia Economy Beijing=Special Correspondent Jo Young-shin] Apple Store opened on the 17th in Sanlitun (三里屯), Beijing, China, according to the Chinese state-run Global Times.
The Beijing Apple Store is the largest in the Asia-Pacific region, the Global Times reported. It added that numerous Apple fans gathered at the opening ceremony held at 10 a.m.
A Chinese visitor to the Apple Store that day said, "I have been using an iPhone since 2010, and since then, I have purchased and used various products such as headphones."
Another Chinese person expressed regret, saying, "I wanted to buy an iPad Pro, but it was already sold out."

Initially, the Apple Store was scheduled to open in March, but the opening was delayed due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), the Global Times reported.
