Vietnam Woori Bank, Pintubi Partner for Accounts Receivable Discounting Service
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyo-jin] Woori Bank announced on the 17th that it has partnered with fintech startup Fin2B to launch an accounts receivable discounting service for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Vietnam.
Fin2B is a fintech company founded in October 2015 and was selected as a ‘Dino Lab’ startup by Woori Financial Group this year. Since launching its accounts receivable discounting service domestically in March 2017, it has actively provided accounts receivable discounting services.
The accounts receivable discounting service implemented by Woori Bank Vietnam digitizes the entire process including accounts receivable and partner company information received from purchasing companies, accounts receivable registration, payment, discount agreements, and execution. Woori Bank Vietnam plans to support smooth financing for SMEs in Vietnam through accounts receivable discounting by linking with the platform developed by Fin2B.
A Woori Bank official stated, “Through collaboration with a startup selected for Woori Financial Group’s startup nurturing program ‘Dino Lab,’ we will continuously support services tailored to the financial needs of corporate customers,” adding, “We also plan to provide various personal financial services to the employees of these companies.”
