According to Gyeongbuk Province on the 17th, as of midnight, the cumulative number of confirmed cases remains the same as the previous day at 1,351. The number of recovered patients and deaths also remain unchanged at 1,289 and 58, respectively. Currently, four confirmed patients are receiving treatment at Andong Medical Center (2 patients) and other regional hospitals.
The last new confirmed case in Gyeongbuk was an overseas entrant on the 6th, and infections through community transmission have been quiet since the 5th.
