'Hana Bank Strengthens Asset Management Platform, Launches "100-Year Living Trust Center"'
Launch of Comprehensive Money Trust Product Managing Various Assets with a Single Account
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] Hana Bank has significantly expanded and revamped its asset management platform.
Hana Bank announced on the 16th that it has launched the "100-Year Living Trust Center," which will serve as an integrated asset management platform through trusts.
This center is an expanded and reorganized version of the existing Living Trust Center, responsible for integrated asset management for individuals and corporations through trusts, along with an increase in specialized personnel.
Hana Bank explained that the organization was expanded and reorganized to respond to various demands for asset management amid changes in the financial environment due to demographic shifts such as low birth rates and aging population, as well as a growing awareness of future preparedness following the COVID-19 pandemic.
To this end, the number of personnel was increased from the previous 13 to around 20 by adding lawyers, tax accountants, and specialized consultants, enabling more systematic and professional consultations.
The center pursues one-on-one customized asset management and inheritance planning for individuals and corporations, as well as long-term asset management and inheritance plans simultaneously with monetary trusts starting from as little as 10,000 KRW. In other words, based on trusts, it provides asset management services covering various tangible assets such as money, real estate, and stocks, as well as personal asset management and inheritance, and corporate succession plans.
Starting with tax and legal advice for clients, the center also offers management and disposal of real estate assets, consulting on new construction and remodeling, senior housing trusts and guardianship for the elderly, and welfare-type financial products and services for minors and persons with disabilities.
Accordingly, to overcome the limitations of consultations confined to the head office, the 100-Year Living Trust Gangnam Center was established within the Club1 PB Center located in Gangnam, Seoul, and plans to expand this into a nationwide support center to allow more clients to consult more conveniently.
To commemorate the launch of this center, Hana Bank also introduced the "100-Year Safe Trust II," a comprehensive monetary trust product that manages various assets with a single account and allows designation of posthumous beneficiaries. The 100-Year Safe Trust II is a long-term comprehensive monetary management product that enables inheritance by managing various assets with one account.
