Gas Corporation Supports Sales Channels for Small and Medium Partners through Exhibitions and Promotions... "Overcoming COVID-19"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Korea Gas Corporation (KOGAS) will operate the KOGAS Win-Win Growth Pavilion at the 12th Seoul International Gas & FC (Fuel Cell) Industry Exhibition held from the 15th to the 17th at the aT Center in Yangjae-dong, Seoul, conducting joint marketing to support market expansion for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
At this event, KOGAS will fully cover booth rental fees and exhibition installation costs for six small and medium partner companies, including Seondu Electronics. By exhibiting and promoting key equipment in the natural gas and hydrogen sectors, KOGAS plans to revitalize the market development activities of SMEs, which have been sluggish due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
KOGAS actively leverages its global recognition to hold annual business consultation meetings and export seminars for its small and medium partner companies. Various support programs are also in place, such as issuing English certificates verifying companies as KOGAS construction, supply, or technology development partners.
These small and medium partner companies have secured export contracts averaging approximately 5.68 million USD annually over the past three years. Notably, at the 2018 Houston Offshore Exhibition, Wonil T&I secured an exceptional single SME contract worth 10.4 million USD through support from the KOGAS export consultation meeting.
