[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Property tax reduction benefits will be given to landlords in the Daejeon area who lowered commercial rent in the first half of this year.
According to Daejeon City on the 15th, 433 landlords participated in the 'Good Landlord Movement' in the region during the first half of the year, and it was found that 854 small business owners received rent reduction benefits from them.
The Good Landlord Movement is a campaign conducted with the purpose of easing the rent burden on small business owners amid the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
In this regard, the city provides property tax reduction benefits worth approximately 94 million won to local landlords who participated in the Good Landlord Movement. The city expects that the property tax reduction per landlord will be around 210,000 won.
In particular, the city explains that if the reduction benefit is applied to the property tax imposed in September, the scope of property tax reduction benefits for landlords participating in the Good Landlord Movement will increase further.
