Martial Arts, '1-on-1 Online Meetup with Russia's Yandex' Held
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] The Korea International Trade Association held a '1-on-1 online meetup between Russia's largest IT company Yandex and domestic startups' on the 10th at COEX in Samseong-dong.
Yandex is Russia's largest search portal, providing various services including internet services, taxi dispatch apps, and maps. At the event, six domestic startups in the fields of AI speakers and online games discussed collaboration via video conference.
Kim Jae-ho, CEO of DexInt Games, which develops online games, said, "The Russian game industry is rapidly growing, and I was considering entering the market when I participated in this event." He added, "It was very beneficial to build a network with Russia's largest IT company and to understand the local game industry trends."
Andrey, manager of Yandex's AI speaker development department, said, "Yandex is interested not only in large Korean corporations but also in collaborating with technologically capable startups." He added, "Many excellent startups participated, and we will continue to discuss collaboration with these companies."

Jo Bit-na, head of the Eurasia Office at the Trade Association, said, "Following last year's meetup with Russia's largest chemical company Sibur, we have now successfully arranged a meetup with Yandex." She added, "We will continue to explore cooperation opportunities with Russian large companies interested in Korea's technologically advanced startups."
