KOSPI Continues Weakness in Afternoon Amid Net Selling by Institutions and Foreigners
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] The KOSPI continues to show weakness in the afternoon session.
On the 14th, the KOSPI started lower and showed slight weakness in the morning session, but the decline widened somewhat in the afternoon. As of 1:50 PM, it is down 13.57 points (0.62%) from the previous trading day, standing at 2172.49.
By trading participants, institutions and foreign investors are leading the index decline with net sales of 429.2 billion KRW and 58.7 billion KRW respectively. On the other hand, individual investors are net buyers with 489.3 billion KRW.
Most of the top market capitalization stocks are falling, with only LG Saenghwalhyeonggang, SK Telecom, and Samsung Biologics showing slight gains.
