Gangnam-gu Hosts 'Smart City Policy School'
Competition Presentations by Teams for 100 Employees Until the 30th... Lectures and Discussions on Medical, Health, and Living Lab Services Topics
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jeong Soon-gyun) is operating the ‘Smart City Policy School’ at Gaepo Cultural Park until the 30th, targeting about 100 employees to discover policies and services that will lead the 4th Industrial Revolution.
This policy school, held for the second time following last year, introduces the overall design of public services by ‘Smart City Service Designers.’ Related experts provide dedicated mentoring on topics such as ▲medical care, health, and quality of life ▲smart mobility ▲smart city & living lab service development ▲fine dust reduction technologies.
After lectures and discussions, teams compete by presenting solutions, and outstanding teams receive incentives such as prize money. Seven projects proposed at last year’s policy school, including ‘Smart Parking Lots,’ ‘Zero Food Waste,’ ‘Securing Mobility Rights for Severely Disabled Persons,’ and ‘Smart Well-Aging Center,’ are currently designated as smart policy projects and are being promoted.
