Samsung Electronics Announces Recruitment for Participants in the '6th University Student Programming Contest'

[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Samsung Electronics announced on the 14th that it is recruiting participants for the 6th "Samsung Electronics University Student Programming Contest."
The University Student Programming Contest is the largest programming competition in Korea, held by Samsung Electronics since 2015 to expand the software ecosystem and discover outstanding talent.
Any university or graduate student interested in programming can participate regardless of their year or major, and since 2017, the competition has been open to foreigners as well.
Applications can be submitted through the Samsung Research website from today until August 18.
This contest will be held in preliminary and final rounds. The preliminaries will be conducted online on the CodeGround site in two stages on August 21 and September 5, respectively, and the finals will be held on September 26 at the Samsung Electronics Seoul R&D Campus in Umyeon-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul.
Winners will receive a total prize of 100 million KRW and preferential hiring benefits from Samsung Electronics. So far, over 20,000 participants from 27 countries worldwide have joined, producing 175 awardees.
