Pompeo, "China's Claims to South China Sea Resources Are Illegal"
[Asia Economy New York=Correspondent Baek Jong-min] U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on the 13th (local time) claimed that China's claims to resource rights in the South China Sea are illegal.
Secretary Pompeo issued a statement saying, "We make it clear that Beijing's claims to most of the maritime resources in the South China Sea are completely illegal, just like the harassment activities to control them."
