At the expanded executive meeting on the 13th, Superintendent Jang said, "The Provincial Council's second half organizational setup has been completed," and added, "Jeonnam Office of Education directors and department heads should do their best to sincerely explain not only various pending issues but also routine projects, and maintain steady communication to gain agreement."
He noted, "The Education Standing Committee has been staffed with many highly respected and influential individuals," and praised, "Standing Committee Chairperson Yu Seong-su is someone with exceptional interest and affection for Jeonnam education and the Jeonnam Office of Education."
Regarding Yu Seong-su's election as Education Committee Chairperson, he said, "We consider it a stroke of luck for our Office of Education," and expressed expectations that "the second half will be a golden time for cooperation between the Office of Education and the Provincial Council to promote the development of Jeonnam education."
Additionally, he emphasized the importance of taking '10 days of leave' for employees who have worked hard during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Superintendent Jang urged, "Take at least 10 days of summer vacation without hesitation," and added, "To reduce the density within the Office of Education, directors and department heads should take the lead in encouraging employees to apply for at least 10 days of leave to ensure they can get sufficient rest."

He continued, "I am well aware of recent cases in Jeonnam Province where inappropriate behavior by public officials raised concerns about COVID-19 community transmission, causing great disappointment among residents," and added, "All staff members of the Office of Education should take this as a lesson and be especially mindful in their daily lives."
