Gurye-gun, 2020 First Term Property Tax Imposition
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yuk Miseok] Gurye-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 13th that it has imposed 13,516 cases of the first installment property tax this year, totaling 1.41 billion won.
Property tax is imposed twice (in July and September) every year on those who own real estate as of June 1.
This imposition covers houses and buildings. In the case of houses, if the principal tax amount is 200,000 won or less, it is imposed in a lump sum in July; if it exceeds 200,000 won, it is divided into two halves and imposed in July and September respectively. The property tax on land is scheduled to be imposed in September.
The deadline for property tax payment is the 31st of this month. Payment can be made at financial institutions and post offices nationwide using the tax payment notice. Additionally, various methods such as virtual account transfer, credit card payment, ARS phone payment, Wetax, and internet Giro are available.
Even without a tax payment notice, taxpayers can check the imposed details and make payments using their passbook, cash card, or credit card at cash deposit/withdrawal machines (CD/ATM) installed in financial institutions, either for themselves or others (by searching with the electronic payment number).
