Chungbuk, Additional Support for Small Business Owners Affected by COVID-19
[Asia Economy (Cheongju) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Chungbuk Province will provide additional support to small business owners affected by the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The province announced on the 13th that it will expand the target for the small business fixed cost support project and begin accepting applications.
The support target includes businesses whose sales in March or April of this year decreased by 10% or more compared to March or April of the previous year (relaxed from the previous 20%), and they can receive 400,000 KRW for fixed costs. Additionally, businesses that cannot prove a decrease in sales will receive 300,000 KRW.
However, the province added a condition that even if the business meets the criteria, support is possible only if the representative resides in the province as of March 31 of this year, operates the business, and the previous year's annual sales are 200 million KRW or less.
The revised conditions apply from the 13th, and applications can be submitted through the city or county website of the representative's address, the economic department of the city, county, or district office, or the resident center of the town or township of the address.
