Leisure Boat Capsizes Off Pohang Yeongilman Coast... All Crew Rescued
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Dong-wook] Around 9 a.m. on the 12th, a 1.3-ton leisure boat carrying four people capsized about 100 meters offshore in front of Cheongha-myeon, Buk-gu, Pohang-si, Gyeongbuk.
The Pohang Maritime Police immediately dispatched the Yeongilman Police Substation coastal rescue boat and patrol ship upon receiving the report, and relayed the situation to the nearby civilian marine rescue team. All four crew members who were on the boat were rescued. They were all wearing life jackets.
