Gyeongnam Reports Another Imported COVID-19 Case... 30s Male of Uzbek Nationality
[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] Another case of coronavirus infection (COVID-19) has been confirmed.
Gyeongnam Province announced on the 11th that a man in his 30s, a Uzbek national residing in Changnyeong-gun, tested positive for COVID-19 and was admitted to Masan Medical Center.
The man entered Incheon Airport from Uzbekistan on the evening of the 8th. As he was asymptomatic upon arrival, he did not undergo testing during quarantine and traveled to Changnyeong-gun by a friend’s vehicle. He was tested at the Changnyeong-gun Public Health Center and was confirmed positive.
Gyeongnam Province explained that after arriving in Changnyeong-gun, the man stayed at his residence from the 9th to the 11th without any other movement.
