Vocational High Schools Revamp Departments in New Industry Fields... Recruiting Freshmen from Academic Year 2022
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Hyun-joo] Restructuring will be carried out in 153 departments across 101 vocational high schools nationwide.
The Ministry of Education announced on the 12th that it has informed the education offices and schools of the restructuring application results containing this information.
Among the selected results, the fields of electricity and electronics had the most with 29 departments, followed by 28 in the mechanical field. The design and cultural content field and the business and finance field each had 19 departments. Through this reorganization, departments related to new industries will increase, and restructuring will also proceed in areas such as fire safety and companion animals. Selected schools will recruit new students starting from the 2022 academic year after going through the department reorganization approval process by the education offices.
