According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 11th, the previous day saw 2 cases from Gwangju Gosi Academy, 3 from a sports club, 2 from Hanul Nursing Hospital, 1 from Gwangneuksa Temple, and 1 from Happy View Hospital. They were classified as cases 148 to 156.
Case 148 is a woman in her 20s living in Daegwang Roseviang Apartment, Sinchang-dong, Gwangsan-gu, who had contact with case 134. She was confirmed positive for COVID-19 and classified as 'Gwangju 148'. Symptoms appeared from the 4th.
Cases 149 to 151 had contact with case 76 and are related to the badminton club.
Case 149 (male in his 80s, Munheung Sangnok Apartment, Munheung-dong, Buk-gu) visited Cinema Sauna in Junghung-dong between 6:00 AM and 7:30 AM for three days from the 8th to the 10th.
Case 150 (male in his 70s, Daeju Munheung 3rd Complex, Munheung-dong, Buk-gu) was confirmed to have spent most of the time at Jeonggok Sanghoe in Usan-dong, Buk-gu from the 7th to the 9th.
Case 151 is a male in his 70s living in Maegok-dong, Buk-gu, who visited Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do on the 4th and 5th.
Cases 152 (female in her 50s) and 153 (female in her 80s) are related to the cohort-isolated Hanul Nursing Home.
Case 154, a woman in her 50s living in Yongjeon-dong, Buk-gu, had contact with Gwangju case 36 and was confirmed positive during a pre-release test while under self-quarantine.
Case 155 is a woman in her 40s living in Yudong, Buk-gu. She had contact with case 45 and is related to Happy View Hospital.
Case 156, classified as related to Gwangju Gosi Academy, is a woman in her 80s living in Jipyeong-dong, Gwangsan-gu, who had contact with case 148.
Health authorities are conducting thorough epidemiological investigations to identify club members as new confirmed cases have emerged from the badminton club.
Meanwhile, since the 27th of last month, a total of 123 COVID-19 cases have been reported in Gwangju.
