View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority (President Cha Min-sik, hereinafter referred to as the Authority) signed a business agreement for comprehensive cooperation in the maritime sector with the Korea Maritime Foundation (Chairman Kang Moo-hyun, hereinafter referred to as the Foundation) on the 10th at the Gwangyang Port World Marine Center.
This agreement was promoted to actively reflect the government's maritime and port-related policies, establish a foundation for development in related fields, and improve the efficiency of work execution between the Authority and the Foundation.
Through this agreement, both organizations will actively cooperate in exchanging maritime-related information, infrastructure, and professional personnel, and will strengthen education and training for nurturing maritime talents as well as public relations activities for the general public.

President Cha Min-sik stated, “Through the business agreement with specialized institutions in the maritime sector, we can efficiently promote work related to establishing a public-friendly maritime culture,” and added, “The Authority will continue to do its best so that Yeosu and Gwangyang Ports can leap forward as core industrial hub ports preparing for Korea's 100-year future.”
