Simmons Bed Opens Hardware Pop-up Store in Icheon, Gyeonggi
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Simmons Bed announced on the 10th that it has opened the brand's 150th anniversary pop-up store, 'Simmons Hardware Store,' at 'Simmons Terrace,' a complex cultural space located in Icheon, Gyeonggi-do.
The Simmons Hardware Store is a 'bedless pop-up store,' showcasing various lifestyle products and attracting public attention. Simmons Bed previously opened this pop-up store in Seongsu-dong for about three months starting in April. In June, it also opened a pop-up store at the Apgujeong Galleria Department Store Luxury Hall West (WEST), featuring limited edition fashion items that garnered significant buzz.
At the Icheon pop-up store, new limited edition items such as gardening shovels and flowerpots suitable for 'gardening' and 'terrace' themes are unveiled. Reflecting the characteristics of the Icheon region, Icheon rice and local specialty character badges, packaged with Simmons' sensibility, are also presented. Visitors can also find popular items including various tools and stationery, as well as coach jackets, T-shirts, and jumpsuits.
The Simmons Hardware Store has recorded a cumulative 20,000 visitors to date, with over 6,000 posts related to #SimmonsHardwareStore on social media. Reactions such as views and likes have surpassed 300,000.
