United Future Party: "Establish 'National Health Department' Instead of Disease Control Agency"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Lee Jong-bae, Policy Committee Chairman of the United Future Party, stated on the 9th, "It is appropriate to establish a Ministry of Public Health to protect the lives and health of the people," and added, "We are currently actively reviewing and promoting this in line with this purpose."
At the 'Cider' policy seminar held at the National Assembly Members' Office Building on the same day, the Policy Committee Chairman said, "There is concern that simply relocating the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to the Korea Disease Control Agency will not be enough to build a new public health system that reassures the people."
