University Dignitas Liberal Arts Education Research Institute... Final Presentation of Online Learning Tutoring Held

View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] The Dignitas Liberal Arts Education Research Institute at Dong-Eui University held the '2020-1 Semester Liberal Arts Education Tutoring Final Presentation' on the 3rd from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. using an online video learning system.
The Dignitas Research Institute operated liberal arts education tutoring by combining the university's liberal arts education content with the remote lecture platform Teams (MS TEAMS) to smoothly support tutoring activities for students taking liberal arts courses in the first semester of this year.
The liberal arts education tutoring program consisted of a total of 16 sessions from April to early July. From topic selection for tutoring to the final presentation, the activities were conducted through students' autonomous team efforts.
At the final presentation, about 180 students participated in 36 teams, sharing the presentation materials prepared by each team through the online video learning system. Through judging, 12 teams were selected, including 2 grand prize winners, 4 excellence awards, and 6 merit awards.
Yoon Hyo-jin, a senior in the Department of Childcare Counseling who won the grand prize, said, "It was a great time to share various thoughts about humanoids and to dream of a future society where AI robots and humans can coexist."
Park Jun-ho, a senior in the Department of Environmental Engineering, said, "Through this liberal arts education tutoring, I was able to develop convergent thinking skills."

Yoon Hye-kyung, director of the Dignitas Research Institute, said, "Liberal arts education tutoring can be seen as a meaningful research achievement that shows the practical direction of future liberal arts education," adding, "It will be an innovative case of tutoring activities through an online video learning system in the field of liberal arts education."
