Homeplus Sells 50-inch UHD TV from Inkel Grade for 329,000 Won
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] Homeplus announced on the 8th that it will sell the '2020 model Inkel 50-inch Ultra HD TV (H500U)' for 329,000 KRW.
The product was developed through prior planning with the manufacturer to improve quality, including achieving energy efficiency grade 1, while offering a price more than 17% lower than the previous model's lowest online price (as of June 7 on Naver Shopping). In particular, since it qualifies for the 'Top Efficiency Home Appliance Rebate,' customers can receive a 10% rebate on the purchase amount, effectively allowing them to buy the 50-inch UHD TV for around 200,000 KRW (296,100 KRW).
The TV features enhanced picture quality and processing speed, equipped with an HKC grade A genuine panel, 4K high-definition display, HDR10 for vivid color output, and smart upscaling functions that optimize the screen. With a fast response time of 6.5ms, it clearly renders dynamic images in sports and games. Its black and gold two-tone super slim design also enhances screen immersion and interior aesthetics.
Homeplus is conducting this promotion because the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic has increased the number of customers seeking TVs. According to Homeplus, TV sales from March to June this year grew by 36% compared to the same period last year. This is due to longer time spent at home, leading to increased demand for second TVs for online lectures or personalized viewing preferences for each family member.
