[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] Cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin are showing mixed trends in domestic and international markets. In Korea, Bitcoin is trading around 10,983,000 KRW, while overseas it is around 9,250 USD.
According to the cryptocurrency exchange Bithumb on the 8th, at 8:20 AM, Bitcoin, ranked first in market capitalization, was trading at 10,983,000 KRW, up 0.17% (19,000 KRW) compared to 24 hours earlier. The trading volume for the day was about 24.5 billion KRW.
Among other major cryptocurrencies, EOS (0.73%), Ethereum (0.96%), ADA (7.89%), and Chainlink (3.10%) rose.
On another cryptocurrency exchange, Upbit, Bitcoin was trading at 10,995,000 KRW, down 0.63% (70,000 KRW) from the previous session. Other cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin SV (-4.04%), Ethereum (-0.70%), Ripple (-2.23%), Bitcoin Cash (-1.98%), and EOS (-1.46%) declined.
In the overseas market, Bitcoin is showing a downward trend. According to CoinMarketCap, a cryptocurrency market data provider, at the same time Bitcoin was trading at 9,250 USD, down 0.31% compared to 24 hours earlier.
