According to AFP on the 5th (local time), Minister of Health Aydi Roca tested positive for COVID-19.
The Bolivian Ministry of Health stated in a press release that Minister Roca's condition is stable and that he is "undergoing medication treatment while self-isolating."
Minister Roca is the third member of the interim government of President Jeanine A?ez to be infected with COVID-19.
Previously, on the 4th, Minister of Minerals Jorge Fernando Oropeza contracted COVID-19.
Chief of Staff Yerko N??ez was also hospitalized after showing symptoms such as fever related to COVID-19.
