IBK, Woongjin ThinkBig Customers 7.0% Savings Account Launched... First 10,000 Customers Only
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] IBK Industrial Bank announced on the 6th that it will launch a high-interest installment savings product, ‘IBK Woongjin Smart All Account,’ offering up to 7.0% annual interest, through a business partnership with Woongjin ThinkBig on the 7th.
The product offers a basic interest rate of 1.0% per year, and if new subscribers sign up for a 2-year contract and maintain the Woongjin ThinkBig’s AI learning service tailored for elementary students, ‘Woongjin Smart All,’ until maturity, they will receive a preferential interest rate of 6.0% per year.
The product has a 2-year maturity period, and the monthly deposit limit is up to 150,000 KRW.
Subscription is available through the mobile banking app ‘i-ONE Bank,’ and sales are limited to the first 10,000 customers until the end of this year.
An event is also being held. Until the end of September, among customers who have made at least one automatic payment of the ‘Woongjin Smart All’ subscription fee from their IBK account, 777 will be selected by lottery to receive prizes such as laptops and wireless vacuum cleaners.
