KOTRA Issues Emergency Vouchers for Exporting SMEs
[Asia Economy Reporter Suyeon Woo] KOTRA announced on the 6th that it will issue 'Emergency Vouchers' for small and medium-sized export companies.
KOTRA is helping Korean companies discover overseas business partners by participating in non-face-to-face projects such as video consultations and online exhibitions due to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19). Companies can apply for vouchers and receive funding for services according to their future overseas marketing activity plans.
If selected, vouchers worth up to 10 million KRW, usable for less than 5 months, will be issued. These vouchers can be used to purchase about 5,800 services, including the production of foreign language catalogs for overseas promotion registered on the Export Voucher website and non-face-to-face overseas sales support programs.
Additionally, sample delivery services have recently become available. It is expected to open a path for overseas marketing of small and medium-sized export companies blocked by COVID-19.
KOTRA has been accepting applications since the 2nd of this month and will select on a first-come, first-served basis until the budget is exhausted.
