[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jihwan] Bitcoin, the cryptocurrency with the largest market capitalization, showed a downward trend in both domestic and international markets. It was priced at 10.89 million KRW domestically and around 9,110 USD internationally.
According to the virtual currency exchange Bithumb on the 3rd, as of 2:50 PM, Bitcoin recorded 10.891 million KRW, down 0.91% (101,000 KRW) compared to 24 hours earlier. A total of 29.1 billion KRW worth of Bitcoin was traded during the day.
Most other major cryptocurrencies also showed declines. Ethereum (-0.73%), Bitcoin Cash (-1.12%), EOS (-0.39%), and Ripple (-0.19%) all fell.
The downward trend continued in overseas markets as well. According to the cryptocurrency market data company CoinMarketCap, at the same time, Bitcoin was priced at 9,110.59 USD, down 1.34% compared to 24 hours earlier.
