Two Children of Bucheon Couple Infected with COVID-19 Also Confirmed Positive
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] Bucheon City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 2nd that two children of a couple infected by a daycare center staff member who contracted the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) have tested positive.
The two children, around 10 years old, are the children of a couple, A (46) and his wife B (50), residents of Bucheon, who were previously confirmed positive. It was investigated that they showed no symptoms of COVID-19.
The couple A was found to have traveled together by car with C (52, female), the 154th confirmed case in the region, to Asan, Chungnam on the 14th of last month. C is a staff member of a daycare center in Bucheon where previous confirmed cases occurred, and it is presumed that the infection was contracted there.
