The intention is to support talents who will lead future companies. A beauty industry executive who graduated from this university also attended the event and gave a special lecture that resonated more deeply with the juniors.
The Beauty Department of Gyeongnam Information University held a scholarship award ceremony and vision special lecture on the afternoon of the 30th at the university's Art Hall, together with Yaksonmyeongga Co., Ltd., Seomyeon S-Line Esthetic, and the Korea-China Chuna Beauty Association.
About 10 officials attended the event, including Choo Man-seok, president of Gyeongnam Information University, Kim Hyun-sook, CEO of Yaksonmyeongga, Kim Eun-mi, director of Seomyeon S-Line Esthetic, and Jang Eun-young, vice president of the Korea-China Chuna Beauty Association.
At the event, three beauty-related companies and organizations, including Yaksonmyeongga, donated a total of 15 million KRW in scholarships for students majoring in skin care, makeup, and nails in the Beauty Department of Gyeongnam Information University.
Lee So-yeon, a graduate of the university's Beauty Department and director of Yaksonmyeongga Gwangbok Branch, gave a ‘Skin Love Senior Special Lecture’ for the juniors. Kim Hyun-sook, CEO of Yaksonmyeongga, delivered a special lecture titled ‘Beauty Professionals Leading the Future.’
President Choo Man-seok expressed gratitude, saying, “I appreciate the support of scholarships to strengthen the capabilities of our school's Beauty Department students during difficult times,” and added, “We will strive even more to nurture beauty talents equipped with both leadership and skills.”
