According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 1st, seven members of Gwangju Sarang Church in Ochi-dong, Buk-gu, Gwangju, tested positive for COVID-19 in the afternoon. They were classified as Gwangju cases 57, 58, 59, 60, 61, 62, and 63.
Gwangju Sarang Church is the place visited by the 46th confirmed case in Gwangju.
The 46th confirmed case, a caregiver at a nursing home for the elderly, attended a worship service for about 1 hour and 40 minutes starting at 10 a.m. on the 28th.
Health authorities have disinfected the church and are identifying additional contacts.
