Savings Banks Launch SB Toktok Plus Large Font Service for Senior Customers
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] The Korea Federation of Savings Banks announced on the 30th that it will provide a 'Large Font' banking service on the joint financial service SB TokTok Plus application (app) starting from the 1st of next month to improve the quality of financial services for senior customers.
As the digital financial environment accelerates and the issue of financial exclusion among seniors arises, the Federation has equipped the SB TokTok Plus app with a 'Large Font' banking service to expand financial services for seniors.
This Large Font banking service has been applied to transactions frequently used by senior customers, such as savings bank product inquiry and subscription, account inquiry, and account transfer. The screen is designed concisely focusing on key information for each transaction, and the font size is significantly enlarged to improve readability, enabling senior customers to conveniently use banking services.
Park Jae-sik, Chairman of the Federation, stated, "With the recent expansion of digital finance, the importance of protecting the rights and interests of seniors, who are relatively marginalized, is increasing. Senior customers are the main customer base of our industry, and providing user-friendly financial services for them is a very important issue. We plan to continue exploring various financial service measures."
Meanwhile, the Federation plans to produce and distribute to savings banks a 'Large Font Deposit Transaction Terms and Conditions Booklet' within this month, which doubles the font size compared to existing terms and conditions, to facilitate transactions for senior customers accustomed to visiting branches.

Additionally, the Federation will continuously strengthen financial services for seniors by producing financial education videos and providing financial information through the senior corner bulletin board on the consumer portal.
