[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] Meta Labs' stock price is on the rise. Expectations that its subsidiary Meta Labs Cosmetic will seek new opportunities in the cosmetics business appear to have influenced the stock price.
As of 1:42 PM on the 30th, Meta Labs is trading at 1,210 KRW, up 10.0% from the previous day.
Last year, Meta Labs signed a global trademark agreement for the functional cosmetics brand "VANT 36.5" (hereafter VANT 36.5), known as the "National Pact," through Meta Labs Cosmetic.
Meta Labs Cosmetic is responsible for the global distribution and sales of VANT 36.5 products. It holds exclusive, semi-permanent rights to operate all businesses utilizing the VANT 36.5 brand. To target the Chinese market, actress Chu Ja-hyun was selected as the brand's main model. The plan is to enter Chinese online distribution channels such as Alibaba Tmall, Kaola, JD.com, VIP, and Xiaohongshu in the first half of this year.
