According to Gyeongnam Province, long-term unexecuted urban planning facilities over 20 years old include 165 parks covering 41.937㎢, 2,279 roads covering 13.254㎢, and 144 others covering 16.079㎢, totaling 2,588 sites covering 71.27㎢. The urban planning facilities to be expired include 107 parks covering 20.052㎢, 1,296 roads covering 5.828㎢, and 92 others covering 11.74㎢, totaling 1,495 sites covering 37.62㎢.
Therefore, the province and 18 cities and counties have established 'step-by-step execution plans and financial plans' for the long-term unexecuted urban planning facilities, actively investing local funds in unexecuted roads and park facilities closely related to residents' daily lives.
Additionally, among the 37.62㎢ of urban planning facilities expiring in July next month, 11.833㎢ will be managed through urban planning measures such as 'establishing district unit plans, designating production and conservation green spaces, and restricting development activity permits' to minimize side effects such as indiscriminate development.
