Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport to Launch Living Traffic Improvement Idea Contest from July 1
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo In-ho] The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport will hold a "Living Traffic Improvement Idea Contest" starting from July 1st, allowing anyone in the nation to participate in order to solve traffic inconvenience issues hidden in daily life.
The contest covers four major areas: traffic safety, road traffic and logistics, railway traffic, and air traffic. It will be conducted through the contest website for 45 days from July 1st to August 14th.
Submitted living traffic improvement ideas will be reviewed for policy impact and feasibility, followed by a final evaluation by the Living Traffic Council. Outstanding ideas will be selected and announced in October. The Living Traffic Council is co-chaired by the 2nd Vice Minister of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and private members, and consists of 15 members including civic groups and academia.

The total prize money is approximately 10 million KRW. Based on the selection results, prize money will be awarded to excellent proposals, and the grand prize winner (1 person) will receive the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Award.
