Booyoung Donates 10 Billion KRW to Masan Scholarship Foundation
[Asia Economy Reporter Chunhee Lee] Booyoung Group will donate 10 billion KRW to the Masan Scholarship Foundation in Changwon, Gyeongnam for the development of the local community.
Booyoung Group announced on the 30th that it will donate 10 billion KRW to the Masan Scholarship Foundation. The Masan Scholarship Foundation is an organization established by Booyoung Group along with members of the National Assembly, educators, legal professionals, and local businesspeople to contribute to regional scholarship projects and various academic research initiatives.
The foundation held a general meeting of promoters before its establishment on the 15th, where it handled agenda items such as the enactment and review of the articles of incorporation and the appointment of the board of directors. Going forward, it plans to carry out projects to nurture outstanding local talents and provide scholarships to students facing economic difficulties within the jurisdiction.
