Pasteur YouTube Releases Taekwontrotman Nataju 63-Degree Challenge Video
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seon-ae] Taekwondo Trotman Na Tae-ju, who gained popularity by appearing on TV Chosun's entertainment show 'Mr. Trot,' took on the '63-Degree Challenge' on Pasteur's YouTube channel.
Lotte Food's Pasteur announced on the 30th that it will release a video of trot star Na Tae-ju taking on the '63-Degree Challenge' on its YouTube channel. The 63-Degree Challenge is a video featuring various tasks to promote low-temperature pasteurized milk sterilized at 63 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes.
Na Tae-ju's challenge event is the 63-Degree Bottle Cap Challenge, leveraging his experience as a former national taekwondo athlete. The challenge involves opening a Pasteur milk bottle cap with a kick after performing six consecutive kicks followed by three spins. The process and success of the challenge can be viewed on Pasteur's YouTube channel, Instagram, and Facebook.
Na Tae-ju's challenge is the fifth 63-Degree Challenge. Since March, Pasteur has released teaser videos and, in the first round, stacked 30,000 dominoes over 60 hours; in the second round, completed 63 spins nonstop with a headspin; in the third round, solved 63 cubes within 6 minutes and 30 seconds. The fourth challenge involved stirring low-temperature pasteurized Pasteur milk 6,300 times to make ice cream, which gained over 1.2 million views amid the popularity of home-based activities.
Meanwhile, Pasteur milk, launched in 1987, is the first low-temperature pasteurized milk in Korea. The low-temperature pasteurization method (Pasteurization: sterilizing at 63 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes) removes harmful bacteria such as tuberculosis bacteria while preserving beneficial bacteria. It also minimizes heat denaturation of calcium and whey protein, maintaining a taste and nutritional content close to raw milk. This method is widely used in advanced dairy countries such as Europe. Additionally, Pasteur milk applies its own standards that are 3.7 times stricter than the legal standards for Grade 1A raw milk, making it a more rigorous Grade 1A raw milk.
