Jinju City Supports 'Small-Scale SME Workplace Environment Improvement Project'
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kang Sharon] Jinju City in Gyeongnam announced on the 29th that it will additionally recruit participating companies for the 'Small-scale SME Working Environment Improvement Project' for small and medium-sized enterprises until July 3.
This project supports improving outdated facilities of small and medium-sized enterprises so that workers can work in a better environment.
It is conducted in two areas: improving the working environment in factory workspaces and improving labor environments such as dormitories.
The city received the first round of applications in April and supported 12 companies with 163 million KRW, and will additionally recruit 2 to 3 companies among those who were rejected at that time.

The city selects support targets through on-site surveys and reviews after receiving application documents, and supports 50% of the total project cost, up to a maximum of 20 million KRW.
