Route Adjustments for Seoul City Bus Lines 2312 and 302
Need to Improve Resident Mobility Convenience Due to Godeok Complex Move-in
[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on the 29th that it will change and implement two bus routes, 2312 and 302, in response to the increased public transportation demand due to the move-in of new apartment complexes in Gwangnaru-ro, Gwangjin-gu, and Godeok-dong, Gangdong-gu.
City bus route 2312 was adjusted through consultation among the city, autonomous district, and operators to improve the convenience of local residents' mobility by addressing complaints caused by the shortage of bus routes, increasing public transportation demand due to the move-in of the Godeok district residential complex, and strengthening connections with Subway Line 9.
The section that previously operated from Sangil-ro via Cheonho-daero, Dongnam-ro, to Jungang Veterans Hospital Station will be changed from the 30th of this month to operate via Sangil-ro, Gucheonmyeon-ro, Sangam-ro 79-gil, Sangam-ro, Dongnam-ro, and Jungang Veterans Hospital Station.
Additionally, bus route 302, which operated from Guui Station in Gwangjin-gu through Jayang-ro to the Children's Grand Park area, will have its route adjusted from the 4th of next month to run from Achasan-ro to Gwangnaru-ro in order to resolve complaints from residents near Gwangnaru-ro (north end of Olympic Bridge) about inconvenience in city travel.
