Seoul National University Undergraduate Confirmed Positive... Student Union Building Cafeteria Closed Until the 28th (Update)
[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Min Jun-young] A Seoul National University undergraduate student tested positive for COVID-19 on the 26th, leading to the temporary closure of some buildings, including the Seoul National University Student Union Building.
On the 26th, Seoul National University announced that undergraduate student A was confirmed positive for COVID-19 at the Yangji Hospital screening clinic in Gwanak-gu the previous day.
According to Seoul National University, A visited the campus on the 23rd and 24th, boarding the campus shuttle bus on the morning of the 23rd, stopping by the College of Natural Sciences building (Building 24), and then having lunch at the Student Union Building cafeteria.
On the afternoon of the 24th, A took the shuttle bus to the campus, visited the Student Union Building, and then went to the College of Natural Sciences buildings 24 and 25-1.
Disinfection of the buildings included in A’s movement path has been completed, and the first-floor cafeteria of the Student Union Building, as well as the College of Natural Sciences buildings 24 and 25-1, have been temporarily closed until the 28th.
An announcement was sent to members disclosing the confirmed patient’s movement path.
