Jangsu-gun Recruiting Participants for Hope Job Project to Overcome COVID-19
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Go Dallyoung] Jangsu-gun, Jeonbuk, is recruiting 114 participants for the Hope Job Project to provide public jobs for livelihood support and revitalization of the local economy until the 3rd of next month.
Applications are open not only to low-income vulnerable groups but also to any Jangsu residents aged 18 or older who are unemployed.
Priority will be given to those who need livelihood support due to the local economic downturn, those who lost jobs or whose businesses were closed or suspended due to COVID-19, and young people.
Applications can be submitted by visiting the local town or township office by the 3rd of next month, and the final selected candidates will be announced on the 10th of next month.
If selected as a job project participant, they will be assigned to work from July 13 to December 12 in areas such as life quarantine support, support for alleyway commercial districts and small business recovery, improvement of public rest areas, and emergency public work support.
The working period and hours are up to 5 months, with a 5-day workweek and 15 to 30 hours per week as the principle, paid at minimum wage.
