Jeonnam Province Conducts Personnel Changes for Department Heads, Bureau Chiefs, and Deputy Heads of Local Governments
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Jeonnam Province has carried out personnel transfers for department heads, deputy heads, and assistant department heads due to third-grade promotions following retirement on July 1 and the transfer of deputy heads after one year and six months.
This personnel reshuffle is known to focus on accelerating the implementation of Jeonnam's new millennium future vision, the 'Clean Jeonnam Blue Economy' six major projects, and fostering a working organizational culture.
Deputy heads were selected from public officials who possess capabilities in city and county policy formulation, administrative organization management, and resolving current issues, as well as serving as a bridge for mutual cooperation and communication between the province, cities, and counties.
Notably, this time attracted attention for producing a female deputy county head in Jeonnam for the first time in 14 years, demonstrating gender equality and breaking the 'glass ceiling,' and for appointing high-performing public officials as deputy county heads regardless of their job series, contributing to the creation of a working atmosphere.
