Koscom Supports IT Employment for Career-Interrupted Women... Achieves 100% Employment Rate
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Ju-yeon] All career-interrupted women in Yeongdeungpo-gu who completed the IT employment program supported by Koscom have successfully re-employed. Koscom announced on the 26th that, building on this achievement, it will sponsor the 'IT Employment Program Training Course' again this year following last year.
The IT employment program is a program that supports career-interrupted women preparing for re-employment to become IT convergence instructors, in collaboration with Yeongdeungpo-gu Office and Yeongdeungpo Women's Human Resources Development Center.
The coding instructor training course, first conducted in 2019 with support from Koscom, is a field where demand has recently surged in after-school education and career experience sites. All 20 career-interrupted women who completed the robot coding instructor course were employed by educational institutions, and 60% of them are working as regular employees, recognized for their expertise.
