The Gwangju Gwangsan Police Station announced on the 26th that they have booked Park Mo (47) without detention on charges of theft for stealing a wallet placed on the cashier counter by taking advantage of lax surveillance at a mart.
Park is accused of stealing a wallet containing 500,000 won in cash on the 17th at 6:54 PM at a mart in Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, while the owner A (34, female) briefly left the counter to organize items at the back of the store.
The police identified the suspect by analyzing CCTV footage from the store and nearby roads and apprehended Park.
