Geumjeong-gu used that precious alcohol for disinfection to drive away the "crazy virus." It was distributed free of charge to local citizens and poured into proactive prevention efforts to stop COVID-19 cluster infections.
Geumjeong-gu could not forget the grateful Daeseon Joojo. They had to express their gratitude for the company's active cooperation in overcoming COVID-19 in the region.
At 2 p.m. on the 25th, Geumjeong-gu presented a plaque of appreciation to Daeseon Joojo in the Geumjeong-gu Office's medium conference room as a token of gratitude.
This is the fourth "gift of the heart," following the letter of appreciation received from Busan Nambu Police Station in April for contributions to COVID-19 prevention, and plaques of appreciation from Busan Nam-gu Office and Yeonje-gu Office in May.
At the plaque presentation ceremony, Daeseon Joojo Executive Director Cha Jae-young attended on behalf of CEO Jo Woo-hyun and received the plaque from Geumjeong-gu Mayor Jeong Mi-young.
Geumjeong-gu Mayor Jeong Mi-young expressed gratitude to Daeseon Joojo, saying, "When residents' anxiety due to COVID-19 reached its peak, Daeseon Joojo's support of disinfectant alcohol helped alleviate the concerns of the residents."
In March, Geumjeong-gu focused on distributing the 11 tons of disinfectant alcohol generously donated by Daeseon Joojo to multi-use facilities where cluster infections were feared, such as Guseo Market in Guseo-dong, Kkachi Park in Jangjeon-dong, PC rooms, karaoke practice rooms, karaoke bars, game rooms, and food service establishments.
