Sunchang-gun Successfully Concludes the 15th Hoemunsan Haewonje Festival
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-jin] On the 25th, Sunchang-gun, Jeonbuk Province, announced that it held the 15th Hoemunsan Haewonje at the Memorial Tower Square in Bimok Park, Gurim-myeon, with about 100 people including County Governor Hwang Suk-ju and bereaved families in attendance.
The Hoemunsan Haewonje, held on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the June 25th War, is an event prepared by the Gurim-myeon Youth Association to pray for the souls of the civilians who sacrificed their lives centered around Hoemunsan during the Korean War and to wish for peaceful reunification of the South and North.
